However, in practice, this industry still faces various challenges from both sharia and state perspectives. This study aims to analyze the problems of the halal industry in Indonesia by examining compliance with sharia principles and government regulations. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature study of various relevant sources. The results show that the main issues include the lack of understanding among business actors regarding halal standards, limitations in the halal certification process, and overlapping regulations among related institutions. From a sharia perspective, there are still practices that are not fully compliant with halal principles, while from the state perspective, stronger policies and more effective supervision are needed. Therefore, synergy between the government, certification bodies, and industry players is essential to optimize the development of the halal industry in Indonesia.

Keywords: Halal industry, Regulation, Halal certification, Indonesia

2026-06-30T00:00:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siti Aisyah Pasaribu Pasaribu, Sherly Safitri, Rafi Albani Ramsyah, Amel, Zahrina Razali https://journal.wakafmilenial.id/index.php/hayjourht/article/view/91 Strategi Pengembangan Wisata Halal Berbasis Konsep 3A+1I Di Masjid Raya An-Nur Pekanbaru 2026-06-21T09:46:21+01:00 Wawan Kurniawan Kurniawan wawan.pku@gmail.com Murah Syahrial Syahrial murahsyahrial@iaile.ac.id Veni Reza venireza@iaile.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the halal tourism development strategy at Masjid Raya An-Nur Pekanbaru using the 3A+1I concept (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Institution). Masjid Raya An-Nur, known as the 'Taj Mahal of Indonesia,' blends Malay, Arab, Turkish, and Indian architecture across 12.6 hectares. Using qualitative descriptive methods in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation this study applies SWOT-IFAS/EFAS analysis. Findings show the mosque fulfills key halal tourism criteria: iconic religious attractions (Riau Halal Fair, Qur'an programs), strategic central-city accessibility via Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport, adequate prayer amenities, and strong institutional governance. The SWOT matrix yields an SO strategy (score: 10.00) as optimal, recommending digital promotion expansion, integrated religious tour packages, UMKM empowerment, and cross-institutional collaboration to position Masjid Raya An-Nur as a world-class sustainable halal tourism destination.
2026-06-30T00:00:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Wawan Kurniawan Kurniawan, Murah Syahrial Syahrial , Veni Reza https://journal.wakafmilenial.id/index.php/hayjourht/article/view/101 Analisis Hambatan Struktural dan Tantangan Akselerasi Industri Halal di Indonesia 2026-06-29T10:29:39+01:00 Fatimah Yanti Sinaga sinagayanti1971@gmail.com Veni Reza venireza@iaile.ac.id Zahrina Razali rinazahrina093@gmail.com Rangga Salam Salamrangga14@gmail.com
Indonesia possesses massive potential in the Sharia market, boasting the world's largest Muslim consumer base. However, the transition from a consumer nation to a global halal production hub still faces various structural obstacles. This study aims to identify and analyze the key issues and challenges hindering the acceleration of Indonesia's halal industry. A descriptive qualitative method utilizing a literature review approach was employed. The findings reveal four main clusters of challenges: (1) the low level of administrative readiness and digital literacy among Micro and Small Enterprises regarding the Halal Product Assurance System (2) the downstream manufacturing sector's—specifically food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals—heavy reliance on imported critical raw materials such as gelatin (3) the lack of integration within the halal logistics ecosystem (Halal Value Chain) due to a shortage of certified slaughterhouses and the prevalence of mixed logistics operations, and (4) obstacles in harmonizing international halal standards between the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) and foreign certification bodies, which limit export competitiveness. The study recommends expanding assistance for MSEs, accelerating research into substitutes for imported raw materials, investing in dedicated logistics infrastructure, and expediting Mutual Recognition Agreements regarding global standards.
2026-06-30T00:00:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Rangga Salam, Fatimah Yanti Sinaga, Veni Reza, Zahrina Razali https://journal.wakafmilenial.id/index.php/hayjourht/article/view/97 Etika Bisnis Syariah dalam Praktik Pemasaran Produk Parfum 2026-06-26T15:13:03+01:00 Nabila Nabila nn0640162@gmail.com Zahwa Khalisa zahwakhalisa15@gmail.com Yusri Fitria puttp748@gmail.com Andra Ramadhan Nasution ramadhanandra94@gmail.com Zahrina Razali rinazahrina039@gmail.com

This study examines the application of Islamic business ethics in the marketing practices of perfume products. Using a library research approach, the research explores principles of honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and social responsibility as the foundation of Islamic business conduct. The discussion focuses on the concept of halalan thayyiban, the legal status of alcohol in perfumes, as well as ethical aspects of promotion, sales contracts, and customer service. Findings indicate that perfumes can be marketed in accordance with Islamic law as long as their substances are pure, beneficial, and not harmful, while alcohol use is permissible if not derived from khamr and remains within the limits set by authoritative institutions. Furthermore, promotional activities must be carried out with honesty and transparency, sales contracts must fulfill the requirements of Islamic law, and customer service should be delivered with sincerity and humility. This study concludes that perfume business practices in the perspective of sharia are not merely profit-oriented but also aim to bring blessings and welfare to society.

Keywords: Islamic business ethics, halalan thayyiban, alcohol in perfumes, sales contracts.

2026-06-30T00:00:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Nabila Nabila, Zahwa Khalisa , Yusri Fitria , Andra Ramadhan Nasution , Zahrina Razali
